Preparing for Self-Study Reports and On-Site Reviews

2012 ABET Symposium Presentations

During the 2012 ABET Symposium, eight sessions were offered by ABET staff and Commission Members on preparing Self-Study Reports and getting prepared for the On-Site Review.

The Self-Study Report presentations describe the basics of preparing Self-Study Reports for applied science, computing, engineering, and engineering technology. Topics covered include the Self-Study Report's objective and audience, organization, time-table, and reporting program changes. Samples are also shown.

The On-Site Review presentations describe the On-Site Review objectives, the Review Team's composition, planning the On-Site Review, displaying materials, conducting the On-Site Review, and post On-Site Review processes and procedures.
