- Evaluation cycle when initial accreditation was granted, shown as the second year in the two-year evaluation cycle. This date is NOT the start date for accreditation of a given program. The program’s accreditation start date is typically October 1 of the academic year preceding the fall visit. For example: If a program seeks initial accreditation in the evaluation cycle 2009-2010, its initial accreditation will be shown as [2010], e.g. Computer Science (BS) [2010]. The official start date for accreditation, once granted, would be October 1, 2008, since the Self-Study and on-site evidence would have been provided based on the curriculum offered during the academic year 2008-2009.
