  Partnerships and Collaborations

In addition to our more than two-dozen member societies, ABET works with many groups in the technological and educational communities in order to advance its mission and vision for applied science, computing, engineering, and technology education. See ABET's Policy on Partnering for more information. If your organization would like to partner with ABET, please contact us. Current partnerships are as follows:

The Engineering Workforce Commission of the American Association of Engineering Societies monitors engineering job statistics that help universities, corporations, and government set salary, hiring, enrollment, and degree trends in the marketplace. ABET is privileged to have its Executive Director, George Peterson, as Vice Chair of the commission.

Center for the Advancement of Scholarship on Engineering Education (CASEE)

CASEE, an operating center of the National Academy of Engineering, is dedicated to achieving excellence in engineering education. ABET Executive Director George Peterson serves as a member of the CASEE Advisory Committee.

ABET is very active within the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Currently, ABET Managing Director for International Business Development George Peterson is Chair of CHEA's Specialized and Professional Advisory Panel and member of its Committee on Recognition.

ABET is a regular sponsor of the American Society for Engineering Education's K-12 e-newsletter, Go Engineering!

ABET is proud to be a JETS Affiliate, helping JETS meet its goal to increase awareness of and interest in engineering- and technology-based careers among pre-college students, parents, teachers, and school counselors.

Western Hemisphere Initiative
