Presenter Biography

Lookadoo

James Lookadoo, Ph.D.,

James Lookadoo is a TAC of ABET commissioner in his fourth year of service. His experiences with the accreditation process extend back to 1985 as a contributor and author of his program's self-studies, service as a program evaluator from 2000, and participation in TAC of ABET's TC2K pilot study in 2001.

Most recently, Lookadoo has been involved in training prospective program evaluators and is participating in the ABET Accreditation Council's efforts to enhance the organization's training functions for ABET volunteers.

Currently, ABET accredits 324 programs at 64 institutions in 23 countries outside of the United States. These programs span computing, engineering, and engineering technology disciplines.
