2010 ASAC Institutional Representatives' Day Presentation (pdf)
Institutional Representatives' Day is an event that takes place each July at the annual ABET Summer Commission Meeting. Institutional representatives from programs about to undergo fall ABET visits are invited to attend Institutional Representatives' Day. This day-long event allows institutional representatives to meet with their ABET team chairs and to learn about all the ins and outs of the visit process.

The Commission Summit was a special event for administrators and faculty that used to take place at the start of the ABET Annual Meeting in October. It covered the ABET accreditation process in detail, beginning with a plenary session with all commissions and continuing with breakout sessions for each individual commission. Representatives from new programs and programs seeking their initial ABET evaluations were strongly encouraged to attend.
*Beginning in 2010, the Commission Summit was incorporated into the ABET Symposium that takes place each spring.
