Workshop Description
This new and interactive forum offers a facilitated experience for program teams to analyze and improve their current assessment and evaluation processes. Over the course of two days, participants will work together on a series of activities that include short “best practice” presentations, peer evaluation of program assessment plans, and self-evaluation of team materials.
Unlike other ABET workshops, CIAF gives attendees the opportunity to bring their own assessment materials* to be reviewed. Each team will have the opportunity to receive peer feedback on their current processes and plans for improvement while experienced facilitators provide guidance throughout the program. At the end of the Forum, participants will leave with individual program team action plans for continuous improvement.
This hands-on forum emphasizes program teamwork and participation; therefore, we cannot accept individual registrations. For maximum effect, teams should have three members but no more than five and must register together. Individual registrations will not be accepted. Registration is limited so form your team and register early.
To maximize the experience, we recommend that at least one team member has attended the Fundamentals of Program Assessment Workshop or the Institute for the Development of Excellence in Assessment (IDEAL).

*We ask that you bring three copies of your Criterion 2, 3 and 4 materials from the ABET Self-Study Report to be reviewed (drafts are acceptable). If members of your team are from different programs, we will consider only one program Self-Study per team.
