The Program Evaluator Selection Cycle

In addition to the ABET application, some member societies also maintain additional eligibility guidelines, application deadlines, and selection procedures. Find the society-specific program evaluator qualifications and schedule here.

After you complete the ABET application, your information will be forwarded to the ABET member society or societies for which you are seeking nomination as a program evaluator. Each society reviews applications on an annual basis and nominates the number of candidates needed to fill its accreditation responsibilities during the subsequent accreditation cycle. Applicants selected by their society participate in ABET program evaluator training.  Please review the time commitment for ABET program evaluator training and service.
